Jinhyuk Park was born in Seoul, Korea in 1973 and entered the Jesuit novitiate in 2000.

On 06 February 2002, Jinhyuk took his vows and studied philosophy for three years at the Graduate School of Theology in Sogang University, Korea.

In 2005, he went to Cambodia to work for Banteay Prieb, the vocational training centre for the handicapped—a part of Jesuit Service Cambodia—for two years during his regency.

Jinhyuk came to Australia on 01 April 2007 and is studying theology at Jesuit Theological college.
